Born in Budapest, for a certain kind of man.

Babel Bespoke was founded by Dorian Bábel. It was never made to be loud, or easy, or for everyone.

Founded by Dorian Bábel, it was never meant to be explained, marketed, or made easy.

For the few who know what they are looking at.

We believe in patience, restraint, and quiet beauty. Good things take time; the best things prove themselves through it. There are easier ways to make a suit — none of them better.

Private trunk shows

A few times a year, we open our doors in Budapest. Our Neapolitan master tailor, Ettore de Cesare, joins us in person to take new commissions and fit each piece by hand. Places are few, and arranged in advance.

Our cut

Naples in the 1960s, seen through an English eye. The ease of a second skin, with the quiet structure of armour. Higher-rise trousers, a love of the double-breasted, and shoulders left soft and natural.

Cloth

We are, admittedly, obsessed with cloth — vintage fabrics above all. We hunt them, gather them, and when a length is too rare to keep, we offer it to the right hands.

For now, we welcome commissions only during our trunk shows.
